I sell a mix of brand-new gadgets, used gadgets, personal care products, and products offered by affiliate partners. Because these categories differ, they each have their own return and refund terms.
Please read this policy before placing an order.
1. Brand-New Products
This section applies to new products sold directly through BrianAbuga.com.
Returns
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
To qualify, the item must:
- Be in its original condition.
- Be unused unless it is defective.
- Include all original packaging and accessories.
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact me within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
If I determine the issue is genuine, I may offer a replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund.
Change of Mind
I may accept returns for change-of-mind purchases at my discretion, provided the product remains in new condition. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
2. Used Gadgets
I occasionally sell gadgets that I’ve personally used for reviews, testing, or demonstrations. These products are heavily discounted and each listing will clearly describe their condition, included accessories, and any known defects.
Normal wear, scratches, battery aging, or other issues disclosed in the listing are not valid reasons for a return.
If the product you receive is significantly different from its description or has a major undisclosed fault, contact me within 7 days of delivery.
Where I find the claim reasonable, I may provide a replacement (if available), a partial refund, or a full refund. All used product claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Soaps, Oils, Balms & Other Personal Care Products
For hygiene and safety reasons, I generally do not accept returns on soaps, oils, balms, creams, or similar personal care products.
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, expired, incorrect, or otherwise unusable, contact me within 48 hours of delivery.
Where I determine the issue is reasonable, I may offer a replacement, store credit, or a refund.
4. Affiliate Products
Some products featured on BrianAbuga.com are sold by trusted third-party retailers through affiliate links.
Since I do not process payment, ship these products, or handle fulfillment, I cannot process returns, refunds, exchanges, or warranty claims for affiliate purchases.
Please contact the retailer directly, as their policies will apply.
Shipping Costs
If a return is approved because I shipped the wrong item or the product arrived damaged or defective, I will cover reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.
For all other approved returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Refunds
Once I receive and inspect the returned item, I’ll let you know the outcome.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, although your bank or payment provider may take longer to process them.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return resulted from my error.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before they have been shipped.
Once an order has been dispatched, it must follow the return process outlined above.
My Commitment
I believe good customer service requires both clear policies and common sense.
While this policy outlines my standard approach, I reserve the right to resolve genuine issues in a fair and reasonable manner. I also reserve the right to decline requests that I reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the product’s described condition.
